School Visit

Plan your school visit

When you visit LEGO® House with your class, we want to give you as a teacher, as good and inspiring day as the students hopefully get. Therefore, we will be the hosts and facilitators of each individual school lesson, but we are going to need your help to ensure good behaviour and a great experience for all.

Below you'll see a typical school day program. This may vary, and you will receive the final program with your confirmation letter upon finalizing your booking.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact us by e-mail: schools@LEGOHouse.com.

LEGO House school program - practical information.

Practicalities

Role of the teacher

There must be at least one teacher accompanying every 30 students and three teachers are included in the price. Extra teachers or parents are welcome but will be asked to pay the full admission price. A LEGO House Play Agent is responsible for the lesson and for welcoming the class. However, we expect the teacher to play an active role in ensuring good behaviour, especially when students move around the house and during the part of the visit where students can explore themselves.

Lunch boxes, coats, toilet breaks and other practicalities

Upon arrival, there will be time for hanging jackets, bags etc. in the wardrobe and visiting restrooms. We know we all must be hungry after a long bus ride. Therefore, we accommodate you with a lunch table and some time to enjoy a small snack you have brought from home.

We recommend that students bring a snack, which can be eaten on arrival at LEGO House, as well as a larger lunch for the lunch break. If you want to buy food or drink in LEGO House, you can buy something in our café BRICKACCINO. However, be aware that there may be a queue.

Visits with no booking confirmation

On school days it is mandatory to book your visit at least 14 days prior to the visit. If you arrive at LEGO House without a booking you will be charged the full admission price and we will not be able to offer any customized school lessons.

Limits to the number of classes pr. day

Facilitated school lessons in LEGO House will be offered on the designated school days. On these days, there is a limited amount of time slots available – we, therefore, urge you to pre-book your lessons as soon as possible and at least 14 days prior to the visit.

Cancellation

Cancellation of school visits must be made at least 30 days in advance. In the case of overdue, LEGO House reserves the right to bill the school program.

Inspiration for Play Time

During your visit, there will be an opportunity for students to play in our Experience Zones. You can manage your Play Time in whichever way you wish, however, we have outlined some good advice on how to structure your Play Time:

  • Before your visit, divide the students into small groups of 4-6 students walking around on their own.
  • Agree on time and place to meet up again.
  • Mobile devices are not needed. You can take pictures with your wristband. Cool, right?
  • Get started.. PLAY! PLAY! PLAY!
