Admission price

Admission price

The price for a school lesson in LEGO® House is 3,000 DKK incl. Danish VAT per class (max 30 students). The reason why we can offer this low admission price is that The LEGO Foundation covers the remaining cost. The LEGO Foundation aims to build a future where learning through play empowers children by helping them become creative, engaged, life-long learners – this is exactly what we are aiming for in LEGO House.

Payment is made by invoice sent to the school before the visit. Remember to fill in the EAN or CVR number.

Free bus transportation
If your school needs domestic bus transport to and back from LEGO House, it will be free of cost when you book it through the link for Papuga A/S. The link will be sent to you on the confirmation email.  Unfortunately, you cannot get a refund if you travel by other bus companies or use public transportation.

The daily school programme in LEGO House

  • On school days (typically Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in the off-peak season), the Experience Zones will be closed to the public, and a limited amount of school classes per day will be allowed.
  • You cannot book school lessons when the LEGO House Experience Zones are open to the public.

Role of the teacher

There must be at least one teacher accompanying every 20 learners. One teacher per 10 learners is free of admission up to three teachers per 30 learners. Parents are welcome to join but will be asked to pay the full admission price of DKK 199. A LEGO® House Play Agent will manage the class. However, we expect the accompanying teacher to take an active role, in particular when moving around inside the house and during the part of the programme where learners are exploring on their own.

Lunch boxes, coats, toilet visits and other practicalities

Upon arrival, there will be time for placing overcoats, bags etc, in the locker rooms, and if anyone has to go the toilet, this will, of course, be possible. There will be a private lunchroom where the class can enjoy their own "lunch boxes" they have brought themselves. It is also possible to buy sandwiches and drinks at LEGO House – please let us know before your arrival if you would like this arrangement instead.

Visits with no booking confirmation

On school days it is mandatory to book your visit at least 14 days prior to the visit. If you arrive at LEGO House on a school day without a booking, we will not be able to allow your entrance to LEGO House. If you arrive at LEGO House with a class on a regular opening day, you will be charged the full price of DKK 199 per person and we will not be able to offer any customised facilitation.

Limits to the number of classes pr. day

Facilitated school lessons in LEGO House will be offered on the designated school days. On these days, there are a limited amount of time slots available – we, therefore, urge you to pre-book your lessons as soon as possible and at least 14 days prior to the visit.

Only for Billund Municipality

Billund has a vision of becoming the Capital of Children. For this reason, it is free for schools in the municipality of Billund, with booked spots, to participate in the school programme.

Cancellation of school visits must be made at least 14 days before arrival. If this can not be met, LEGO House reserves the right to send expenses for any agreed bus transport.

NB: Cancellation due to the Covid-19 situation can be made free of charge, right up to the day before the visit.
