What is your role at the LEGO® Group? I work in production at the Billund-based LEGO factory, KOM BM&Q (Kornmarken, Brick Moulding & Quality). My title is TPM, and my daily responsibility is cleaning and maintaining moulding machines in our High-Volume production.

How did you get into building with LEGO bricks, especially building your own creations? I have played with LEGO Bricks since I was 5 years old, but I first started building LEGO models when I joined the LEGO House as a Play Agent in 2024. I had just finished school, and for the first time, I was looking for a purpose beyond education. I found a mix of nostalgia and exciting challenges in making my own LEGO models.

It seemed that LEGO House had just the thing that ignited my model-creating passion!

What kind of creations do you love building the most, and why? I love to build LEGO models that showcase the LEGO Group’s brand and history. The model I have chosen to build for this exhibit hopefully reflects that!

If you could give one piece of advice to aspiring LEGO builders, what would it be? Build with passion, build with purpose, and challenge yourself with every creation you make.

How does it feel to have your work exhibited here at LEGO House - Home of the Brick? It feels great! When I first visited the Home of the Brick in 2023, I never imagined I would be displaying my own LEGO model in the Masterpiece Gallery just 3 years later. Now that it has happened, I am even more grateful for the journey that led me here.

Can you describe your model and what it represents? The model tells a story of a LEGO wooden duck family who travel to LEGO House to enjoy the festive activities during the day, and later travel home to the local woodshop, where they celebrate their holiday traditions.

How long did it take you to build? Including design and building time, it took approximately 160 hours.

Approximately how many LEGO elements did you use? Around 5,600 elements.

Are there any hidden details, Easter eggs, or techniques in your model that fans should look out for? Almost too many to talk about! I’ve hidden many hints and prints from previous LEGO Exclusive House sets. There are obvious historical references and loads of others for you to try and find!
