LEGO® House breaks summer record

The Home of the Brick™ marks its strongest summer season to date, celebrates one year of LEGO® Masters Academy and teases a special limited-time Masterpiece Gallery coming later this September.

BILLUND, DENMARK, 08 SEPTEMBER 2026: LEGO House is celebrating its strongest summer season since opening, as one of its newest experiences, LEGO® Masters Academy, marks its first anniversary.

Guest visitation at LEGO House is seven percent ahead year to date compared with the same period in 2025, while summer 2026 has also surpassed last year’s record-breaking season to become the strongest summer since LEGO House opened. Together, the results mark a second consecutive record-breaking summer and continue a period of strong momentum for the Home of the Brick™ as it approaches its 10th anniversary year in 2027.

The milestone comes one year after the opening of LEGO Masters Academy, the world’s only LEGO Masters Academy experience, where guests can build together in guided sessions designed to inspire creativity, confidence and new ways to create with LEGO bricks.

Since opening in September 2025, LEGO Masters Academy has welcomed more than 20,000 guests across over 700 sessions in its first year, giving families, friends and LEGO fans from around the world the opportunity to build together in a guided LEGO experience and take their LEGO creations home with them.

From playful family building to increasingly advanced challenges across higher levels, LEGO Masters Academy gives guests the opportunity to choose an experience that suits how they want to build, before taking their LEGO creations home as a memory of their time at LEGO House.

One year of building together LEGO Masters Academy opened at LEGO House on 17 September 2025 as a new guided building experience for families, friends and LEGO fans. The Academy has continued to evolve during its first year, including the introduction of Level 1 “Splash into the Bricks” in 2026.

Guests can currently choose between three levels: Level 1 – Splash into the Bricks A playful experience centred on building, exploring and having fun together.

Level 2 – Build Me Up A step up for guests looking to grow their building confidence and explore more challenging creative approaches.

Level 3 – aROUND the Bricks We Go The Academy’s most advanced experience, challenging builders to put their creativity and skills to the test.

Each session is led by LEGO House Play Agents and gives participants the opportunity to build together before taking their LEGO creations home.

In its first year, LEGO Masters Academy welcomed participants from over 76 countries, territories, and regions. Guests from the UK account for the largest share of participants, followed by Denmark and the US. Among the Academy experiences available since launch, Level 2 “Build Me Up” has been the most popular.

A second consecutive record-breaking summer

Summer 2026 has set a new benchmark for LEGO House, surpassing the record-breaking summer of 2025 to become the strongest summer season since the Home of the Brick™ opened.

The new record comes alongside continued growth throughout the year, with year-to-date guest visitation now seven percent ahead of the same period in 2025.

The result is particularly significant following an exceptional summer in 2025, when LEGO House welcomed its highest-ever number of guests across July and August. By exceeding that previous high just one year later, LEGO House has now delivered a record-breaking summer for the second consecutive year.

The increased guest activity was also reflected across LEGO® House, with MINI CHEF serving more meals on its busiest day this summer than on any previous day since opening.

The continued growth reflects strong demand from families and LEGO fans from Denmark and around the world as LEGO House continues to develop experiences that give guests new reasons to build, play and return.

Last chance to see the current Masterpiece Gallery

Guests visiting LEGO House in the coming weeks will also have a final opportunity to experience the current collection of fan-created models in Masterpiece Gallery.

The current line-up will remain on display until 19 September 2026, before Masterpiece Gallery takes on a special new format for the final months of the year.

From 25 September, LEGO House will introduce a special, limited-time edition of Masterpiece Gallery, featuring original creations built by LEGO designers and colleagues from around the world. For this temporary edition, exhibitors have created models inspired by home, togetherness and holiday traditions, bringing personal stories, cultures and creative approaches from around the world to the top of LEGO House.

The limited time Masterpiece Gallery will only remain on display until the end of 2026.

When LEGO House reopens in early 2027 for its 10th anniversary year, Masterpiece Gallery will once again put the spotlight on the global Adult Fan of LEGO (AFOL) community, with a new exhibition celebrating fan creativity and the special relationship between LEGO House and LEGO fans around the world.

Looking ahead to 10 years of LEGO House

LEGO House will celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2027, with a year of new experiences, creative moments and celebrations planned at the Home of the Brick.
