Big-build LEGO® F1® cars arrive at LEGO House for a summer of racing and creativity

  • Life-sized LEGO® F1® Big Builds, iconic race-inspired elements and hands-on building experiences take centre stage at the Home of the Brick™.

BILLUND, DENMARK, 05 MAY 2026: LEGO House, Home of the Brick™, shifts into high gear this summer with a new seasonal theme that celebrates how LEGO® bricks can bring speed, engineering and creativity to life through play.

Running from 14 May to 14 September 2026, the Race into Summer theme continues the LEGO House tradition of evolving creative experiences throughout the year, following the much-loved “Animals in the Wild” theme earlier this year and the recent music-inspired spring season.

This summer, the focus shifts to movement and playful competition, all explored through hands-on building and large-scale LEGO creations that demonstrate the endless possibilities of the LEGO brick.

From LEGO bricks to the racetrack

At the heart of LEGO House, LEGO Square will feature an extraordinary showcase of life-sized, fully drivable LEGO F1 Big Build cars, originally unveiled at the FORMULA 1 MIAMI GRAND PRIX 2025 Driver’s Parade.

Guests will be able to experience two of these impressive builds across the summer:

  • Mercedes-AMG F1 W15 LEGO Big Build - on display from 14 May to 12August
  • Ferrari SF-24 F1 LEGO Big Build - on display from 13 August to 14 September

Created in partnership with Formula 1 and all teams on the grid, each of these remarkable builds is constructed from nearly 400,000 LEGO bricks, weighs approximately 1,500 kg, and is built at close to 1:1 scale. During their debut, Formula 1 drivers took to the track in these LEGO creations as part of the official Driver’s Parade at the FORMULA 1 MIAMI GRAND PRIX 2025, marking a unique moment where the worlds of motorsport and LEGO play came together.

Now part of a global tour, these Big Builds arrive at LEGO House in Billund, offering guests a rare opportunity to experience the scale, detail and craftsmanship of Formula 1 design, reimagined entirely through LEGO bricks.

While the spectacle captures attention, each build ultimately highlights what is possible with LEGO bricks, from individual elements to creations that push the boundaries of design, engineering and imagination.

Celebrating victory, built brick by brick

Guests at LEGO House will also be able to experience the first-ever Formula 1 trophies, made entirely of LEGO elements, originally presented to the winning drivers at the FORMULA 1 BRITISH GRAND PRIX 2025, as part of the sport’s 75th anniversary celebrations.

The original LEGO Brick-Built trophies, inspired by the iconic Royal Automobile Club (RAC) trophy, were awarded to the podium finishers and winning team following the FORMULA 1 BRITISH GRAND PRIX 2025 race. Built using thousands of LEGO elements, these replicas showcase how even the most prestigious symbols of victory can be reimagined through LEGO bricks.

Additional elements from recent Formula 1 experiences will also be featured, including the distinctive pink LEGO brick-built glasses given to the winners of the FORMULA 1 LAS VEGAS GRAND PRIX 2025 during the “cool-down car” moment, worn by Max Verstappen, George Russel and Kimi Antonelli

Build your own victory in Creative Lab

Inside the Creative Lab in the Red Zone, the experience becomes fully hands-on. Guests are invited to take part in ‘Build Your Victory’, where they can design and construct their own LEGO trophy creations using a wide range of bricks, colours and elements.

Visitors can:

  • Shape their own unique designs
  • Experiment with balance, structure and creativity
  • Display and celebrate their creations together

A race built together

Adding to the experience, LEGO House will host a collaborative, racing-themed LEGO mosaic, built brick by brick, by guests. From 12 June to 14 June visitors can contribute their own LEGO creations to a growing artwork, which gradually transforms into a larger-scale mosaic

A summer of creativity in motion

“LEGO House is designed to inspire creativity through the power of the LEGO brick,” says Rasmus Duun, Head of LEGO House. “With Race into Summer, we are bringing the excitement of racing into the Home of the Brick in a way that stays true to who we are. From large-scale LEGO F1 Big Builds to hands-on activities in Creative Lab, guests can experience how creativity grows, starting from a single brick and expanding into something truly extraordinary.”

The Race into Summer theme runs from 14 May to 14 September 2026, bringing new creative experiences to guests visiting LEGO House in Billund during the summer season.
