About your LEGO creation(s) on display
Title Many Journeys, One Home
Can you describe your model and what it represents? My MOC, Many Journeys, One Home, represents the idea of returning to LEGO House from every corner of the world. The LEGO DUPLO characters travel in many different ways, by air, land, rail, and on foot, showing that although every journey is unique, they all lead to the same destination. At the center stands LEGO House, symbolizing home, connection, and togetherness.
The building techniques used in this model are intentionally simple and well within the abilities of a child familiar with LEGO DUPLO. The main difference lies in the planning and in constructing the MOC in smaller sections. This was a conscious decision, because I wanted the build to feel accessible and inspiring rather than intimidating. My hope is to show that with imagination, patience, and planning, anyone can create something like this.
How long did it take you to build? It took around 4 weeks to complete, including planning, part selection, and finding the right LEGO DUPLO figures and bricks to bring the idea to life.
Approximately how many LEGO elements did you use? The MOC uses approximately 1,600 LEGO DUPLO pieces.
Are there any hidden details, Easter eggs, or techniques used that fans should look out for? The four colors in the MOC represent the four directions, reinforcing the idea of people arriving from all around the world.
