Holiday in Denmark: Build memories at LEGO House
When it's time for a holiday, the questions come up quickly: Where should we go? What should we experience? Denmark offers plenty of options for families looking for fun activities and exciting worlds to explore.
If you want to plan a child-friendly indoor activity where all ages can enjoy hours of fun, LEGO® House in Billund is the answer. Here, the whole family can enjoy a unique LEGO experience building, playing, experimenting, and trying new things together. Whether you are planning a summer holiday in Denmark, an autumn holiday, a winter holiday, or a weekend getaway, you are always welcome at our unique experience center.
What you can experience at LEGO House during your holiday
At LEGO House, you can explore four interactive Experience Zones. Here, you can build freely without manuals or instructions, tackle creative missions, and watch your ideas come to life on digital displays and installations. It is play for all ages – from the youngest builders to adult LEGO fans.
Explore the Experience Zones:

Red Zone
Take a seat by the building brick pools and let imagination lead the way. Admire the impressive LEGO waterfall or visit the Creative Lab with its changing themes.

Yellow Zone
Build creatures, flowers, and fish, and watch your creations come to life. Here, children can experiment with colors, shapes, emotions, and movement.
In the Masterpiece Gallery, you can admire impressive LEGO creations made by fans from around the world, while the History Collection tells the story of the LEGO brick and its journey from Billund to the rest of the world.
At MINI CHEF restaurant, you build your order using LEGO bricks, after which our service robots, Robert and Roberta, serve your meal. It is a fun and unique dining experience that kids will remember long after their holiday. If you would like a table at MINI CHEF, we recommend booking well in advance.
If you prefer a quick meal, a cup of coffee, or a sweet treat before heading home, you can visit Café BRICKACCINO at LEGO House.
DUPLO® for the youngest
At LEGO House, our youngest guests are naturally part of the fun too. That's why you'll find dedicated DUPLO play areas in all four Experience Zones, where toddlers can build, stack, and explore at their own pace. The colorful DUPLO bricks are designed to help children aged 1–3 develop motor skills and spark imagination. Although these areas are tailored to toddlers, DUPLO is for everyone, so older siblings are more than welcome to join in the play.

Challenge yourself at LEGO Masters Academy
If you want to test your skills, you can sign up for the LEGO Masters Academy. Through workshops at various levels, kids and adults get the opportunity to master new building techniques, find inspiration, and create unique LEGO models to take home. Choose the level that suits you:
- Family Fun: Children as young as 5 and their parents can tackle creative, beginner-level LEGO challenges together. Duration: approx. 60 minutes.
- Basic Skills: Dive deeper into creative building techniques as you construct your own LEGO models. Suitable for children aged 5 and up. Duration: approx. 75 minutes.
- Advanced Building: Designed for anyone aged 10 and up looking to try more technical and complex building techniques. Duration: approx. 90 minutes.
Throughout the session, participants receive guidance and inspiration to think like real LEGO Masters – and you get to take your creations home with you. It is the perfect activity for families looking to combine play, learning, and creativity in a welcoming setting in the heart of Billund.

Visit LEGOLAND during your holiday
Some families choose to combine LEGO House with a visit to LEGOLAND®. The two attractions complement each other perfectly. While LEGOLAND offers rides, speed, and outdoor adventures under the open sky, LEGO House invites you inside for creative play, immersion, and interactive building experiences with millions of LEGO bricks.
If you want to experience both attractions, you can purchase a combo ticket that grants entry to both LEGO House and LEGOLAND. When you book a combo ticket, you enjoy the flexibility of choosing your day to visit LEGO House, with entry to LEGOLAND valid six days before or after your visit to LEGO House.
LEGOLAND® Billund is the most visited attraction in Denmark outside of Copenhagen, welcoming guests from around the world every year. Many visitors choose to combine their trip with a visit to LEGO® House, located just a few minutes' drive away. This allows you to experience both high-speed rides at LEGOLAND and hands-on, interactive experiences with millions of LEGO bricks at LEGO House.
