Yellow Zone at LEGO House

The Emotional Zone

What does an emotion look like when given shape, color, and movement? In the Yellow Zone – the emotional zone – play is all about tuning in, expressing yourself, and giving your ideas personality. Here, you can build imaginative sea creatures, plant your own LEGO flowers in the meadow, and build characters that express feelings through dance and body language. Read more to discover the sensory and expressive experiences waiting for you in the Yellow Zone at LEGO® House - Home of the Bricks.

Mood Mixer

Can you build a feeling with bricks? And what does it look like when a mood breaks into a dance? In Mood Mixer, you get to explore how emotions and body language can be expressed completely without words. Start by choosing a baseplate, and then combine colourful LEGO bricks to create your very own LEGO figure. When you add a special mood brick and place your character on the digital stage, something magical happens: your figure comes to life, expressing its emotions through a dancing movement. Watch the body language unfold on the screen, and see how the characters can inspire and influence each other's moods on stage.

Fish Designer

Can a fish have eight legs, striped fins, or a giant smile? In Fish Designer, there is no right or wrong answer for how underwater life should look. Dive into the pools of LEGO bricks and build your very own sea monster, an exotic reef fish, or something right in between. Then, place your creation in the digital scanner. In just a few seconds, your LEGO fish will swim straight out into the large digital aquarium alongside sea creatures created by other guests.

Flower Artist

When it is time for a little break, you can recharge your mental batteries with some flower power. In our atmospheric flower garden, you can take a well-deserved breather and enjoy the beautiful view of the Tree of Creativity. You can also build LEGO flowers in all sorts of colour and shape combinations, and afterwards "plant" them in the meadow.

DUPLO® Area for the youngest

Emotions, senses, and shapes also play a huge part in early childhood development. In our DUPLO area in the Yellow Zone, our youngest guests can explore DUPLO bricks in various shapes and colours, and discover cute animal figures. Here, it is all about letting toddlers feel the different surfaces and start using their imagination.

Explore more Experience Zones in LEGO® House

Once you have given your emotions and shapes free rein in the Yellow Zone, you can continue the LEGO adventure in the other Experience Zones.

Red Zone

In the Creative Zone you can explore your imagination and self-expression with hands-on LEGO building experiences.

Green Zone

In the Emotional Zone, you can discover how feelings spread, mix, and shape what's happening around you.

Blue Zone

In the Logic Zone, you can explore problem-solving and experimentation by building, testing, and refining your ideas.

The four colour-coded Experience Zones (Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow) form the heart of LEGO House. Each zone represents a unique way to play and learn: the Red Zone boosts free creativity, the Blue Zone challenges logical thinking, the Green Zone brings families together through social storytelling, and the Yellow Zone focuses on emotions, senses, and body language.

In our Experience Zones, it is never about building the biggest or most advanced models. It is all about experimenting, expressing your personality, and feeling the joy of creation. There is no rulebook for how a LEGO fish or a dancing mood figure should look.
