LEGO® House school program

A school day – built on play

Bring your class for a school day filled with play, creativity, and hands-on learning. Choose from four inspiring lessons and plan your visit right here.

Who is the programme for?

The LEGO House school programme offers lessons for 1st to 6th grade students.

Our lessons are developed for Danish schools, but the activities can be held in English if requested beforehand. After-school clubs are welcome to book school lessons at LEGO House but must be within the age group. Kindergartens, private daycares and other children’s institutions are not eligible for a discounted school entrance to LEGO House.

Practicalities

A day in LEGO House includes a welcome by a Play Agent, a facilitated lesson and time to experience LEGO House on your own.

Below you'll find a quick guide to roles and the practical bricks that make your school visit run smoothly.

Roles and responsibilities

There must be at least one teacher accompanying every 30 students and three teachers are included in the price. Extra teachers or parents are welcome but will be asked to pay the full admission price. A LEGO House Play Agent is responsible for the lesson and for welcoming the class. However, we expect the teacher to play an active role in ensuring good behaviour, especially when students move around the house and during the part of the visit where students can explore themselves.

Upon arrival

There will be time for hanging jackets, bags etc. in the wardrobe and visiting restrooms. We know we all must be hungry after a long bus ride. Therefore, we accommodate you with a lunch table and some time to enjoy a small snack you have brought from home. We recommend that students bring a snack, which can be eaten on arrival at LEGO House, as well as a larger lunch for the lunch break. If you want to buy food or drink in LEGO House, you can buy something in our café BRICKACCINO. However, be aware that there may be a queue.

Parking and transportation

Arriving by car? You can park at the LEGO House parking house at Hovedgaden 24. Payment is required. Bus parking is located at Granvej 9. If you arrive by public transportation to Billund Centret, you're just a five minute walk away from LEGO House.
