LEGO® House Opens LEGO Masters Academy Level 1: A new building experience focused on togetherness, playful building, and shared creativity

04.2.2026 | LEGO House | Press release

The Home of the Brick™ welcomes guests back with a calendar of seasonal themes, beginning with “Animals in the Wild” and unfolding new reasons to revisit throughout the year.

04 February 2026, Billund, Denmark – LEGO® House introduces LEGO Masters Academy: Level 1 “Splash into the Bricks”, a new hands-on building experience in the Home of the Brick™, designed to bring guests together around playful LEGO building, and shared creative experiences.

Level 1 invites guests into a creative pond world, where ducks fly, frogs spin, and buzzing bugs come to life through LEGO play. As the most accessible level of LEGO Masters Academy, Level 1 focuses on curiosity, experimentation, and enjoying LEGO play together across ages and skill levels.

Creative play for everyone

Developed by the LEGO House Experience Team, LEGO Masters Academy Level 1 is a 60-minute, guided building session led by LEGO House Play Agents and offered in both English and Danish sessions.

During the session, guests will build at their own stations and create:

  • Their own ducks, frogs, and cute little bugs, each with unique personalities and funny quirks.
  • Simple playful builds such as catapults, spinners, and slingshots that add movement and fun to the experience.

While guests build individually, sessions include shared playful moments where tables come together through light-hearted challenges, creating a relaxed and social LEGO play experience.

LEGO Masters Academy Level 1 is about LEGO play bringing people together,” says Søren Bering Andersen, Head of Experiences, LEGO House. “It’s a space where families and guests of all ages can build, laugh, and explore creativity together. Everyone meets the bricks on equal terms, and the fun comes from sharing the experience.”

Designed to continue play beyond the visit

At the end of the session, guests take home the LEGO animals and playful builds they created. These builds are intended to support continued LEGO play at home, extending the experience beyond LEGO House and encouraging further creativity together.
