About your LEGO passion

How did you get into building with LEGO bricks, especially building your own creations?
I first came into contact with LEGO products in 2010 and began attempting my own MOCs (My Own Creations) in 2013. At first, I was fond of technical engineering vehicles. Later, I met many friends who also loved creating MOCs and joined a Chinese LUG (LEGO User Group). To engage in broader communication, I started trying more types of my own designs.

What kind of creations do you love building the most, and why?
I particularly like Chinese-style architectural themes, but instead of using real-existing buildings as prototypes, I prefer to create based on my imagination. I think it’s a wonderful thing to bring my fantasies into reality through LEGO bricks.

If you could give one piece of advice to aspiring LEGO builders, what would it be?
I want to say to LEGO creators: You can continuously improve yourself in your favorite field and become the best version of yourself there. You can also bravely explore various different fields, which will bring more joy and diverse senses of achievement.

How does it feel to have your work exhibited here at LEGO House - Home of the Brick?
LEGO House has always been a sacred temple in my heart. The MOCs exhibited there are outstanding representations showcasing the infinite creativity and pursuit of beauty by MOC builders worldwide, and demonstrating the charm of original LEGO art to the world. I consider it a great honor to have my works exhibited in LEGO House.

What’s next for you in your LEGO journey—any upcoming projects or dreams?
I am planning to build a mobile castle that integrates mechs and architecture.

Do you have a personal LEGO portfolio website or social media profile that you can share?

About your LEGO creation(s) on display

Title
Yu Xin Ge (or "Vibrant Pavilion")

Can you describe your model and what it represents?
The name "Yu Xin" represents the feeling of flowers and plants reviving in spring - full of vitality. I envisioned a Chinese-style building and expressed this feeling through its color scheme and plant decorations. The lower part of the building is mainly orange, symbolizing maturity and stability; as it goes upward, the main color changes to green, symbolizing vigorous growth, continuous innovation, and breakthroughs.

Additionally, "Yu Xin" is also the name of my son, and this work symbolizes my expectations for him to grow healthily and happily.

How long did it take you to build?
The production time of the creation was approximately 7 weeks.

Approximately how many LEGO elements did you use?
It uses about 25,000 parts.

Are there any hidden details, Easter eggs, or techniques used that fans should look out for?
For easy transportation, the work adopts a modular design and can be quickly disassembled into many small modules.
